Processing fees at the new lender typically range from 0.25–1% of the outstanding loan amount, plus 18% GST. On ₹30L outstanding, a 0.5% fee works out to ₹15,000 + ₹2,700 GST = ₹17,700. Some lenders waive the fee for balance transfers above ₹50L — always negotiate.
